It’s great to see the importance of agents getting continued education through mortgage broker training to keep them up to date on trends, paperwork, revisions, laws, etc.

Making snacks a little healthier by making them

Review
<guid

I guess that means that they add all kinds of bad-for-you stuff to restaurant dishes to make them taste a whole lot better. It makes sense when you think about it. So I thought that maybe it would be the same way for snacks and appetizers that you get in restaurants. And I do love my appetizers.

I was thinking about that one day when I was at work last week, when I decided I would try and make my favorite appetizer, hummus, myself at home. I looked online for the perfect hummus recipe and during my search I saw some info on Credit card debt counseling and after I looked through it a little bit I decided that I could really use that help. So I’m going to take it.

I’ve never attempted making hummus before. But it can’t be that hard because you basically just mash up a bunch of stuff, right? I’m going to attempt it and see how it goes and tastes. Maybe I’ll make some pita chips to go along with it too.

My Hectic Life

Review
<guid

Between working a lot of overtime, making sure the kids are well taken care of, and keeping our house in order things have been crazy. I told my husband I would get a wireless home security system installed since our kids are now old enough to stay home alone, and I keep on forgetting to do it. I know it’s important, I just can’t find a minute in the day to make the phone call. Things have been so hectic that I even forgot to get our oldest daughter a birthday gift last week. I had to scramble at the last minute and stop at Macy’s on my way home from work to get her a gift card. I hope that things slow down soon, because I can’t go on like this for much longer. I need some alone timewith my husband, and we need to take the kids out to do something fun, too. I think they feel neglected, and I don’t want their grades to start slipping since they think they can get away with things now.

Helping Veterans Get The Right Loan

Review

Veteran mortgages (VA), can be used to purchase a house and even refinance it for a lower rate. And this is not just a special program for active military, but also veterans who already have a pre-existing VA loan.

Since there are VA rates available at lower than 5% interest rate (better than what most banks offer), getting just a 1% reduction in rate can lead to higher savings each month. Current veteran loan rates on StreamlineRefinance.net are 4.02% APR for fixed and even lower for 5/1 adjustable rate at 2.99% APR. Incredible low rates. As with any financial provider, make sure to always ask if points are charged as sometimes they are applied if the rate is incredibly low or if your credit isn’t in the best shape.

Some other great features:

With StreamlineRefinance.net – a VA home loan goes without any out of pocket expenses. All closing cost and pre-paids can be rolled into the loan amount. Saving you up-front cash payments.

You may skip up to 2 payments (something I haven’t seen done with other financial institutions)

If you are looking to buy a house to get your family settled or the market looks good to buy, a free application can let you know if you are ready to go forward and take advantage of a low rate.

Hard Work

Review
<guid

I had a good job, and wanted to save for a few years and then open my own graphic design business. With all that was going on in my life, I didn’t ever think I would be able to afford to buy a house. I was focused on my career, and it didn’t matter at the time. It took me a while to save enough to open my own business, but I finally did. After that, it took me a while to turn a profit. When I finally felt like I had enough money to buy a home, it felt like a dream come true. I wasn’t sure that day would ever come. When I did move into my home I knew I had to do everything possible to make it my own. I spent a lot of time and energy renovating things, and then decorating to my liking. Once I had that all together, I searched Atlanta HOME SECURITY to see what it would take to get a home security system. After working so hard for so many years, I had to take steps to protect my investment.

New Beginnings

Review
<guid

My three kids, well, let’s just say we’re still trying to help them adjust. It’s funny how little ones become such creatures of habit. As if moving from our old house to a new house wasn’t hard enough for them, their poor little bodies haven’t seemed to adjust to our new time zone either. And getting up two hours earlier in the morning because they don’t realize its only 5:00 AM makes for one really tired mama. You would think that because of this, the little stinkers would be worn out and ready for bed 2 hours earlier, but that’s not the case. Oh well! Looking on the bright side, it gives me 2 more hours to unpack and get the little luxuries like cable and internet hooked up so we can be connected again. Luckily several people that my husband works with told us we had to look at satellitestarinternet.com because they had excellent prices. Thank goodness we liked what we saw and were able to get hooked up in no time so we’re back in touch with the world again…even though we’re thousands of miles from our old lives.

Flu

Review

direct tv channels because last week I had the flu. My husband kept telling me that I needed to get the flu shot and I kept putting it off like an idiot. I just never found the time to drop by the pharmacy and get the shot. I really paid for it last week because I was so sick. I literally couldn’t move from the bed. I only got out of the bed if I was feeling nauseated or had to go to the bathroom. I haven’t been that sick in a long time. The doctor even made a house call. I was confined to the bed and didn’t feel like doing anything. I didn’t even feel like catching up to work e-mails. I did feel like doing anything but watching television. I watched everything from “the View” to “Law and Order : Special Victims Unit” marathon. If we didn’t have all of those television channels I wouldn’t just be in bed really sick, I would be in bed really sick and really bored.
